1. the prime time of your life (tits and clits remix) by daft punk. this reminds me of jay (ilovemoon), the amount of times he’s sent me links and songs of thiers for me to marvel at and for all the good times i’ve had with that guy, despite the fact we’ve never met. i’m hoping that’ll change this january, but money is a tight cunt. and not the good kind of tight cunt :(

2. earthquake by family force 5. this reminds me of being a stupid scene kid. just all the times i’ve backcombed my hair and put on stupid make up and the times where i’ve put on three belts to be cool. it’s really not. but it is funny to look back on.

3. ganja kru by shy fx. despite everything that happened between me and her, this will always remind me of GTA4, smoking sessions at nem’s house. which looking back on it were good times, it’s just a shame that everything turned out so sour, and still is. i also remember times where we’ve had this song on really loud and we’ve been sat in the dark and the only light is the end of our cigarettes. good times. i have to admit, they’ll be missed.

4. killing time by infected mushroom. another song that reminds me of jay! but yeah, he did introduce me to this amazing band. (which he saw yesterday i think, wanker.) this also reminds me of times in college where i’ve been trying to work yet keep being interrupted by everyone asking me pointless questions that they could easily find the answers for themselves. so i tend to find infected mushroom on youtube and tune out. really helps me remove myself.

5. mr brightside by the killers. ugh, i don’t really like this song anymore but it has so many memories. it mainly reminds me of my ex boyfriend rob and we were on a train to god knows where and this song came on his mp3 player. we shared earphones and he managed to play out the whole song with stupid sign language. i can’t even miss that memory since he was just so wrong for me but yeah.

6.  heavens sake by mistabishi. this song reminds me so much of kc. he introduced me to mistabishi and there have been many a time where he’s been playing this at his house while we’ve been getting very stoned and very drunk. brilliant song, tied back to great times. :)

7. granite by pendulum. well this just reminds me of seeing pendulum and dancing for hours on end to the point where i couldn’t stand. i remember getting very bruised and beaten up at that gig and everything almost going in slow motion. it was incredible.

8. music for shoplifting by pos. this song is absolutely lyrical genius. it was definitely a massive song for summer last year (2008). it kept me upbeat but humbled and i definitely needed it when i went through a few rough times through those few months.

9. hey you by the exies. god this song. the amount of times i’ve heard it and played it on stupid level on guitar hero! this is one of my favourite songs from guitar hero one and one of the first ones i mastered on hard. i was a little bit of a guitar hero addict :)

10. black hole sun by soundgarden. this is an absolutely amazing song. jim introduced me to soundgarden in the first few months we were going out and it just brings me right back to the times before his bedroom had been redone and his hair was still long. i think this song has reduced me to tears on a few occasions because it brings back such raw memories of early times with jim. when we didn’t know so much about eachother and everything was new and different. sometimes when you get into a long term relationship, you forget what it was like to be in the honeymoon period, but i am glad i’ve got this song to remind me.

just a bituva fyi: they did play killing time ;D
